Mode Theory Basics

In this lesson we are going to get some hands on experience with two of the most popular modes that are used in today’s music; the Dorian and Mixolydian modes.  I believe that by first approaching this difficult theory from a hands on point of view you will have a deeper understanding of the mode concept in the end.

This is the A Dorian mode which is relative to the E Minor scale.  Please read your Manuscript for more details.

This is the A Mixolydian  mode which is relative to the B Minor scale.  Please read your Manuscript for more details.
